Faith P Mathews, CPSM, C.P.M., Chapter President

Greetings to the Members of ISM-CV!

The calendar may be telling us it is time to put away our Summer things, but for many of us in the Carolinas and Virginia, we are thinking about getting in another long weekend at the beach or in the mountains, because, let’s face it, it’s still plenty humid and hot!

The August webinar, which Dupre moderated, featured two experts in the travel industry who shared real life experiences with us.  Learning about categories that are less commonly managed under Procurement’s umbrella provides us with additional knowledge that may help us, our companies or our colleagues.   Did you know that our Webinars are recorded and you can access the recordings at cv.ismworld.org?  You can also become a subscriber so you never miss a thing!

Your ISM-CV Board is planning for more Webinars this Fall, so look for more information soon.

Our 2027 Spring Conference and Case Competition will be held in early April.  The date and location should be confirmed very shortly.  I look forward to joining you then.

I am honored to be your President this year and I hope our chapter will continue to be a benefit to your professional development.
