Welcome to ISM—Carolinas-Virginia. ISM—CV was established in 1920 and for over 100 years has provided an organization for procurement and supply management professionals across North & South Carolina and Virginia. With a focus on our members and profession, ISM—CV is committed to offering world-class educational training and development programs, networking conferences, and opportunities for members to get involved and contribute to the members of our great profession.

Preparing members and professionals to serve their respective organizations and the profession is the goal of ISM—CV. If you are not a member of ISM—CV, we encourage you to join us and bring your skills and knowledge to ISM—CV leaning in and being part of this great organization.

OUR MISSION & GOALS

Advancement of the profession through education in the fundamentals of production and marketing, effective methods and practices, commodities and their uses, and sources of supply and distribution.
Cooperation toward the elimination of trade abuses.
Collection and dissemination of beneficial information through trade publications, lectures, conventions and plant visits.
Encouragement of amicable and productive relationships among industry professionals resulting in a positive environment for the exchange of ideas.
Promotion of supply management and procurement as a profession in such a way as to obtain merited recognition.

A business environment in which supply chain management is recognized as an area of specific expertise and where supply chain practitioners are viewed as professionals.

Code of Ethics

To achieve and maintain professional stature, we in supply management must establish and subscribe to a set of ethical standards to guide individual and group decisions and actions.
